Donny Deutsch, host of CNBC's Big Idea is a basic needs kind of guy.
It boils down to this. Deutsch has a passion for Palin. He thinks she represents the new creation of the"feminist ideal" because ... she wears a skirt. In Deutsch's mind this is the reason Hillary didn't do better - lack of skirt:
"Hillary Clinton didn’t figure it out. She didn’t put a skirt on!"
He figures Americans will be inspired to vote Palin-Grandad because voters deep inside have a need for a hot skirt-wearing-hockey-soccer-mommy candidate.
"I trust her. I want her watching my kids. I want her laying next to me in bed. That’s the way people vote."
It's possible Deutsch didn't get enough nipple when he was in diapers because this seems a lot like a late run on mommy nurture - regressive and more than a little weird. Forget about an in-depth discussion of who Palin really is and what she really stands for, it's enough for DD that she makes him feel goooooood ... in a skirt no less.
